LEGO Review: Spider-Man Spider Cycle Chase Set 76004

The next batch of Lego Superhero sets have started showing up. I spotted the Daily Bugle set at a LEGO store the other day, and today Toys R Us had the Dark Knight Rises set and this one. Although TRU always marks up their LEGO's, I did pick this up because it looked like it would be a fun build for a saturday night. Read on to hear my thoughts...

Bad Movie Wednesday: SKYLINE

After listening to episode 16.5 of ‘How Did This Get Made’, a fantastic podcast in which they discuss terrible movies, and hearing that their next movie would be Skyline, I thought I might take a look and write my own deal as it’s on instaflix. Here goes nothing…

The Apes Continue to Rise

Spoiler Warning for the end of this video.

Evolution Becomes Revolution

So if I'm going to try doing this blog again, I think it's only right that I start talking about my most anticipated movie of the summer.

Wolverine and the X-Men 1x01: Hindsight Part 1

Before diving back into the Doctor Who Epic Watch, I feel like I should brush up a bit with a new (for me) series review, so how about Wolverine and the X-Men

Someone needs to dust in here...

So i'm going to try and start this up again, we'll see what happens i guess...

Epic Watch Doctor Who: Story 3 - The Edge of Destruction

The third adventure of the doctor takes place entirely in the TARDIS.

Epic Watch Doctor Who: Story 2 - The Daleks

*EXTERMINATE*

Epic Watch Doctor Who: Story 1 - An Unearthly Child

For a lucky few this was their introduction to Doctor Who. I wouldn't see it until many years had passed in my who-fandom. I've been a fan of the doctor since junior high i think, long before eccleston or even mcgann had their turn at the tardis, i believe the first i saw of the doctor was the tom baker story 'robots of death' and it hooked me for life. I saw a few more baker and pertwee stories, the five doctors, and at least one of the cushing films, battlefield with mccoy, and then nothing for a while, in the pre-dvd, pre internet days it was easy to exhaust the who supply from the library and blockbusters. Thanks to the revival, and the internet, it's now easy to see whatever who remains to be seen. So i'm picking up the gauntlet, watch every bit of Doctor Who i can, in order, from the beginning.

Now Building: Xenomorph Head

So this is my first papercraft entry, i think how it'll go is just be updated pictures of my building it, until the last one, where i'll have some thoughts, maybe a review, we'll see. I'll credit those who made the kits whereever possible, but i haven't really kept any records, so it'll depend if there was any with the kit as i have it, or i can find it again. If you see a kit you made and theres no credit to you, please let me know so i can get it up there.

Update

Hey Everybody! I've got a couple of reviews to post as well as a new feature to debut, a 'now building' for papercrafts, so we'll see how that goes. I'm also going to start a new watch/rewatch, for all of Doctor Who. As you may or may not know, many of the early episodes are lost to time thanks to the BBC's recyclng practices, but they live on in audio form, or reconstructed as animations, so those will have a different scoring than usual when i get to them.

SAW 3-D

It's A Trap: Saw Rewatch Part 4

Legends Never Die: SAW Rewatch Part 3

DLB's second, what was originally supposed to be the final of the series, ended up not even being the last for Bousman. I think this is my favourite of the sequals...
