SAW Rewatch Part 6

Here we go...

SAW 6, while i think it is a step up from 5, it's maybe on par with 4, still not as good as the first 3.

This time we follow the head of a health insurance company as he decides who will live and who will die. Hoffman is still dodging the feds, while trying to further implicate recently crushed strhaum. we spend some more till with jigsaw's ex, jill, who seems to be becoming the true heir apparent for john's work.

She almost gets hoffman in the end, trapping him in one similar to the reverse bear trap, but he's able to escape at the last second, although he doesn't make it unscathed.

I still don't like how many people have to die in this one, thanks to how hoffman works the games, while similar to three, where one player travels room to room, given tests to decide the fate of others, someone had to die in every test, there wasn't that opportunity for everyone to make it out and better themselves, and the victims didn't all seem like they should be there, like the secretary and the janitor, they didn't seem like they really did anything that would have made them targets of the true jigsaw.

Hoffman also becomes more of a killing machine outside of the games, something john would have never wanted, his sloppiness in general makes me think he never would have been a real asset to jigsaw.

Largely forgettable, but not the worst, it does lay some good groundwork for part seven, even if it isn't fully utilized, but we'll cover that in next installment.
