Almost There: Saw Rewatch Part 5

Let's just get right into it, shall we?

So this is where i think the SAW franchise really jumps the shark. I don't like Hoffman's Jigsaw. I don't care about the backstory of the razor wire man from the first SAW. Hoffman feels shoehorned into those flashbacks and i don't feel like it's a part of the story worth telling.

i'm not sure how much i liked the main series of tests in this one, i thought at first they felt more like kramers doing, but i keep going back and forth on it, the 'test subjects' seemed more like they should have been turned into the authorites for their crime rather than tested for it, that teaching them to work together wouldn't line up with what they were in there for. I found myself board at times, espescially during the flashbacks.

I liked agent strahum getting out of his unwinnable trap and going after hoffman, and in the repeat viewings i could tell him and hoffman apart much easier, and i thought julie benz did a good job, i haven't seen her new show yet but i liked her in buffy/angel, the new rambo movie, and of course dexter, but everyone else was pretty forgettable.

I think that's about all i have to say for this one, let's do the score, one more to go in the rewatch and i'll be seeing the new one this weekend.
