Epic Watch Doctor Who: Story 1 - An Unearthly Child

For a lucky few this was their introduction to Doctor Who. I wouldn't see it until many years had passed in my who-fandom. I've been a fan of the doctor since junior high i think, long before eccleston or even mcgann had their turn at the tardis, i believe the first i saw of the doctor was the tom baker story 'robots of death' and it hooked me for life. I saw a few more baker and pertwee stories, the five doctors, and at least one of the cushing films, battlefield with mccoy, and then nothing for a while, in the pre-dvd, pre internet days it was easy to exhaust the who supply from the library and blockbusters. Thanks to the revival, and the internet, it's now easy to see whatever who remains to be seen. So i'm picking up the gauntlet, watch every bit of Doctor Who i can, in order, from the beginning.

Now Building: Xenomorph Head

So this is my first papercraft entry, i think how it'll go is just be updated pictures of my building it, until the last one, where i'll have some thoughts, maybe a review, we'll see. I'll credit those who made the kits whereever possible, but i haven't really kept any records, so it'll depend if there was any with the kit as i have it, or i can find it again. If you see a kit you made and theres no credit to you, please let me know so i can get it up there.

Update

Hey Everybody! I've got a couple of reviews to post as well as a new feature to debut, a 'now building' for papercrafts, so we'll see how that goes. I'm also going to start a new watch/rewatch, for all of Doctor Who. As you may or may not know, many of the early episodes are lost to time thanks to the BBC's recyclng practices, but they live on in audio form, or reconstructed as animations, so those will have a different scoring than usual when i get to them.

Legends Never Die: SAW Rewatch Part 3

DLB's second, what was originally supposed to be the final of the series, ended up not even being the last for Bousman. I think this is my favourite of the sequals...

I want to play a game... SAW Rewatch Begins

It's halloween, so it must be SAW. Today I started my annual SAW rewatch in preparation for SAW 3-D, supposedly the final in the series coming out in a couple weeks. Full review after the break.

Now Watching: Demonic Toys

As a fan of the Puppet Master franchise I've seen Puppet Master Vs. Demonic Toys, and now thanks to instant Netflix, I'm able to see the original Demonic Toys for the first time. While not one of my favorite full moon feature, I enjoyed it. Review and score after the jump.

Podcast Spotlight: Doug Loves Movies

This may be my favorite podcast. Doug Benson, Professional Humoredian, hosts 2-3 guests from the entertainment community in this weekly podcast about movies. Full review after the jump.

Done Playing: Heavy Rain

So i completed a playthrough of Heavy Rain yesterday, and sent it back to gamefly. I liked the concept and idea, and applaud them for trying something different, but i felt like it needed some more work. Full review and score after the jump *spoilers*.

Currently Watching: The IT Crowd

Season 2, Episode 1 - The Work Outing

Another fantastic British comedy, i stumbled across this one on instant netflix and I've started re-watching it today. Review after the break ==>

Currently Playing: Heavy Rain

Just got this from Gamefly, started it tonight. So far i think it's an interesting idea, but i'm not sure how much i like it. The controls seem pretty good except for movement, it seems to have the problem of changing direction as the camera changes, making me go in circles for a bit. It might be something i get used to, but between that and the lack of running it's pretty frustrating. *Spoilers within*

Currently Watching: The 'Burbs

I've never seen The 'Burbs before, at least not all the way through. Bits and pieces have been looking familiar as i've been watching it. Tom Hanks takes a week off of work and starts nosing around his creepy new neighbors. Not too many 'laugh out loud' moments for me so far, but i'm enjoying it. Almost didn't recognize Robert Picardo as one of the garbagemen, thanks imdb!

Hey Everybody!

So i'm gonna give this whole 'web-logging' thing a shot, and we'll see how it goes. A little intro, i'm 25 years old, recently out of work and going back to school at the local community college. I like playing video games, building models, and watching tv shows and movies. Maybe that's as good a place to start as any.
